The complainant, Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Railway Company, filed its bill in the Chancery Court of Rhea County, Tennessee, against the defendants, Rhea County and Jim Conner, Trustee of said County, seeking to recover the total sum of $19,138.43 in taxes, penalty and interest paid by the complainant to the defendant under protest.
