Plaintiff, Nick Raziano, Jr., the owner and operator of a 1940 Studebaker automobile, instituted this suit against defendant, T. J. James & Company, Inc., endeavoring to recover the sum of $10,000 for personal injuries and property damage incurred by him as the result of colliding with defendant's mule on the night of June 4, 1943, at about 9:40 p. m., in the Airline Highway, while driving at a normal speed in the direction of the City of New Orleans...
