Immediately after leaving a "beer joint", about midnight, April 2, 1951, near Dundee on the Winter Haven-Dundee Highway, Leon Griner was run over and killed by an automobile driven by Joe Roy King. This action was brought by Griner's wife against the owner of the automobile to recover damages for the negligent death of her husband.
