Plaintiff brought this action for annulment of marriage against defendant upon the ground that at the time of the purported marriage ceremony between them defendant was married to one Charles Orr, from whom she had only obtained an interlocutory decree of divorce. The final decree was obtained on April 7, 1941, about six months after the marriage. These facts are conceded. Defendant showed that she married Orr in 1922, and due to his being a chronic alcoholic...
