Upon the trial of this case the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff against both defendants. From the judgment entered thereon the defendant American Construction Company has appealed. It has assigned as error the denial of a motion for leave to amend its answer, various rulings on evidence, portions of the charge and the refusal to set aside the verdict as excessive.
