In an information filed by the District Attorney of Los Angeles County, defendant was accused of the crime of robbery. Three prior convictions on felony charges were alleged. It was also charged that at the time of the commission of the offense charged against him defendant was armed with a deadly weapon, to wit, a .32 automatic pistol.

Defendant was duly arraigned and entered his plea of not guilty...
