Defendant was prosecuted for the murder of Frank Berry, Jr. He was found guilty without capital punishment and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Defendant was the concubinus of Emma Ford, mother of Texia Berry. Frank Berry, Jr., a cripple, was the divorced husband of Texia Berry. He had been requested to stay away from the home owned and occupied by Emma Ford and Texia Berry. On the night of his death, he had gone into the home of the two women...
