On February 15, 1941, Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company issued a life insurance policy (No. 727,036) to Brazilton Blanton Barnes whereby it agreed to pay $10,000. This policy named as beneficiary "Helen Elizabeth Barnes, wife, if living, otherwise to June Colleen Barnes, Daughter."
