The employer was the owner of a fleet of tug boats which were moored at the piers of Sullivan Shipyard at the foot of 23rd Street, Brooklyn, New York. Decedent had an engineer's license but his employment was predominantly that of a night watchman and maintenance man in connection with the tug boats. The board found that he was not a seaman engaged in maritime employment and we think the record sustains that finding. While the evidence is somewhat inconsistent and unsatisfactory...
