Decedent was a Roman Catholic priest and left no dependents. On April 27, 1948, he sustained accidental injuries in the nature of third-degree burns of the body which caused his death on May 3, 1948. He sustained these injuries in his bedroom at the rectory. There is no proof in the record as to the origin of the fire.
