Claimant sustained a compensable accidental injury on December 7, 1938, and compensation was awarded and paid to him for a period of disability, the last payment being made on December 14, 1940. On March 3, 1949, claimant became again disabled as a result of his previous injury. On March 24, 1949, claimant filed with the Workmen's Compensation Board an application to reopen his claim, and the application was granted and the case reopened on May 3, 1949.
