Memorandum Findings of Fact and Opinion

BRUCE, Judge:

Respondent has determined deficiencies in individual income taxes for the calendar years 1944 and 1945 in the amounts of $11,580.72 and $29,462.91, respectively. The proceeding was submitted on a stipulation of facts which are so found, together with oral testimony and documentary evidence introduced at the hearing.

Certain of the issues have been settled by stipulation, leaving for our consideration...
