This is an action on a promissory note. In a complaint filed by appellee, Mid O. Brewer, he alleged, in effect, that Floyd E. Brewer, Addie Brewer, and appellant, Robert J. Haley, as makers, executed their note to him in the amount of $1400 on November 1, 1948, that said note was due and unpaid and sought judgment for $1400 with interest and costs.
