By this appeal the appellant, Atkins, seeks to rectify the alleged error of the trial judge in depriving him of the benefits of a verdict which he had secured by the grant of defendant's motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict. The suit was one for damages sustained in an automobile collision which plaintiff claims was caused by the negligence of defendant. Defendant denied negligence and pleaded contributory negligence of the plaintiff...
