WALKER, Justice.

The plaintiff, who is the appellee, recovered a judgment against the defendants, namely, Elbert Farmer and Lester Farmer, who are the appellants, for the sum due on a promissory note given him by said defendants in part payment for some timber, and this judgment also decreed a foreclosure of the vendor's lien on this timber. From this judgment the defendants have appealed. Defendants were not present at the trial, and the cause was tried to the court...
