Appellants Wayne R. Ford and wife, Mary Bell Ford, brought this action against appellees W. M. Phillips and the American National Life Insurance Company to recover damages for the death of their son, James Wayne Ford, an infant, whom the defendant Phillips killed on October 17, 1950, by driving his automobile over the infant's head.
