Claimant sustained accidental injuries on August 7, 1948, at which time he was a volunteer fireman for the Board of Fire Commissioners of Millwood, New York, Fire District No. 1, insured by Glens Falls Indemnity Company. The injuries were sustained while claimant was attending a parade and bazaar in the village of Ossining, New York, insured by the State Insurance Fund.
