The appellant was tried and convicted in the Criminal Court of Record in and for Dade County on a charge of operating a gambling house. During the course of the trial the judge of that court ordered confiscated and placed in the Fine and Forfeiture Fund the sum of $1,456.35, which had been taken from the appellant by the arresting officers.
