On March 6, 1948 the defendant issued a check for $58.50 drawn on a bank in Boise, Idaho, which, upon presentation for payment, was dishonored for the reason that the defendant did not have sufficient funds in the bank to cover payment of the check. A criminal complaint was filed against the defendant in the Probate Court of Blaine County, Idaho, on January 13, 1949, charging him with the crime of issuing a check without sufficient funds in the bank...
