These are appeals from two judgments, each entered June 28, 1950, in separate actions for the recovery of rental charges received by the defendants in violation of the provisions of the Housing and Rent Act of 1947 as amended, Title 50 Appendix U.S.C.A. § 1891, et seq. Rex Junior Burton and Olive Burton, his wife, as tenants, are plaintiffs in one of the actions, and Thomas F. Walsh and Joan Walsh, his wife, also as tenants, are plaintiffs...
