Charles Stringer was sentenced to 15 years in prison on a charge of shooting and wounding Charles Compton with intent to kill. Reversal of the judgment is urged on the grounds that (1) Stringer should have been granted a continuance; (2) the court failed to instruct the jury on all the law of the case; and (3) Stringer did not receive a fair and impartial trial, which resulted in the verdict being against the law and the evidence, and, therefore...
