Originally begun as a suit for breach of contract of bailment, this action concluded as a claim for damages for the detention of a barrel of Haviland china. Plaintiff stored the china, together with other household goods, with defendant storage company in Washington. He left the goods there for approximately two years and after moving west ordered the entire shipment delivered early in 1948 to the Universal Carloading and Distributing Company...
