Appellant was convicted in the District of Columbia on May 3, 1946, and was sentenced to serve a term of six months to two years. He was committed to the District of Columbia Reformatory and, on November 14, 1946, he was released from that institution on parole. On April 10, 1947, a warrant was issued against him for violation of that parole. The warrant could not be executed because appellant had been arrested in New York for an offense committed...
