Frank Sciandra brought this action in the circuit court of Jefferson County against the North British & Mercantile Insurance Company, Ltd., a corporation. The purpose of the action is to recover for loss alleged to have been suffered by plaintiff to property, which loss he alleges was caused by lightning or windstorm, risks covered by a policy of insurance that had been issued by defendant.
