This is a suit to recover damages in the amount of $15,000 for the alleged wrongful death of plaintiffs' son, a child approximately five years of age. There was a verdict for the defendants and plaintiffs have appealed.

Plaintiffs' son was drowned on January 27, 1949, in a water-filled excavation located on residential property in Charleston, Missouri, owned by Jesse N. Scott and his wife. The Scotts, along with the Semo Gas Company...
