In an information containing four counts filed by the District Attorney of Los Angeles County, defendant was charged in Count I with the crime of kidnapping; in Count II he was accused of the crime of robbery; Count III charged the crime of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to commit murder; and in Count IV he was accused of the offense of assault with intent to commit rape. To all of the aforesaid charges defendant entered a plea of not guilty...
