Petitioner, now confined in the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, at Springfield, Missouri, perforce a "judgment and commitment" entered pursuant to the provisions of Sections 4244 and 4246, Title 18 U.S.C.A., seeks writ of habeas corpus to require "the Government to show cause * * * why petitioner should not be forthwith released from custody" or "why it should not forthwith * * * proceed with a trial" of criminal charges...
