This is a suit in equity by way of appeal from a decision of the board of appeals of Methuen brought under the provisions of G.L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 40, § 30, as appearing in St. 1933, c. 269, § 1, as amended by St. 1935, c. 388, and St. 1941, c. 198, §§ 1, 2. The judge entered a decree that "the decision ... was within the jurisdiction of the board of appeals of the Town of Methuen, and that no modification of it is required...." From...
