Plaintiff, the owner of a house and lot on Clancy street in the city of Grand Rapids, on September 1, 1937, entered into a written land contract to sell it to her daughter, the defendant, for $4,000. $60.60* was paid on the purchase price and the balance of $3,039.40,* with interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per annum, was to be paid in monthly installments of $30 or more per month the first year...
