Cornelius Neal Allen died in East Baton Rouge Parish on May 2, 1947. On May 22, 1947 Malinda Onora Allen, alleging herself to be his widow petitioned the district court of that parish to be recognized as his surviving widow in community and his sole and only heir at law. She alleged that she was entitled in her own right to be declared owner of an undivided half interest in and to all of the property as widow in community and as there were no ascendents...
