This is an action by The Bank Line Limited, as owner of the steamship Hollybank, to recover damages sustained by the Hollybank when allegedly, in order to avoid a collision with the steamship Rio Atuel, it was compelled to go aground in the Cape Cod Canal on the early morning of October 31, 1947.
