Plaintiff sued to recover workmen's compensation on the basis of permanent total disability to perform manual labor. At the time of the alleged accident he was in the employment of Midland Timber and Tie Company, for whom the Central Surety and Insurance Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, carried workmen's compensation insurance. The insurer alone was impleaded as defendant.
