The plaintiff administratrix in this action seeks to recover for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by her intestate on January 31, 1945, by a fall upon the common steps leading from the defendant's tenement house to the public sidewalk on Governor Street in Hartford. The complaint alleges that the icy and slippery condition of the steps, due to the defendant's negligence, caused the decedent's fall. The jury returned a verdict for the defendant...
