Sophie Hubbell died in May of 1931. Her last will, dated in 1928, and a codicil, made less than a year later, were admitted to probate in the Surrogate's Court of Westchester County in June, 1931. She devised and bequeathed the residue of her estate to her husband, Henry Hubbell, and the New Rochelle Trust Company, as trustees, with directions that "should I leave real property or any interest therein...
