Plaintiff, who is engaged in the Butane gas business in Independence, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana under the trade name of the Higher Tane Gas Company, brings this suit against the defendant, the Illinois Central Railroad Co., a foreign corporation authorized to do and doing business in the State of Louisiana, seeking to recover of the defendant the sum of $434.47 based upon the following allegations:
