This appeal involves Section 73 of the New Code, R.S.1949, § 509.420, and the background is a collision between two automobiles at a street intersection in Cameron, Clinton County, Missouri, on December 22, 1947. One automobile was owned by respondent, Sarah Yelton, but driven by respondent, Hubert Smith. The other automobile was both owned and operated by appellant, James Hayden.
