This suit was instituted by Ann Fields, et al., as surviving heirs of Carolyn C. Fields, deceased, against Charles W. Asberry, in trespass to try title, to recover certain real estate in Dallas County, and, by their second court, to recover $3,917 on deposit with the First National Bank of Dallas and $700 in the Teachers' Retirement Fund. Asberry answered by plea of not guilty and filed a cross-action in which he alleged he was the surviving husband...
