This is a mechanic's lien foreclosure. Plaintiff, as contractor, and defendants, as owners, entered into a written contract wherein and whereby plaintiff engaged to erect a dwelling house for the defendants on their property in Portland, pursuant to plans and specifications, for the sum of $7,775.00.
