John A. Beasley was charged by information filed in the district court of Kay county with the crime of first degree rape, after previous conviction, but later the information was amended by the deletion of all reference to previous crimes. The case was tried before a jury and the defendant was found guilty of the included crime of rape in the second degree, and his punishment fixed at ten years confinement...
