By this action the plaintiff, Sadie Philpot, seeks recovery for personal injuries sustained on May 30, 1946, when she was struck by the sharp edge of a broken glass bottle while she and her husband were attending a baseball game at Ebbets Field, a ball park in Brooklyn.
