The appeal in this case results from the trial of two separate actions by two mothers to recover, under the wrongful death statute of Georgia,1 for the deaths of their daughters who were killed in a collision between a truck and a school bus, upon which they were passengers. The Court directed that the actions be tried together. The jury returned verdicts against the appellants in favor of the respective complainants...
