This is an appeal from an order sustaining a plea of privilege. Appellants, Earl Creswell and Bob Creswell, filed suit in the District Court of Scurry County, Texas, against J. B. Pruitt and O. T. Foster, seeking damages for certain alleged slanderous remarks by Pruitt and Foster at the annual session of the North Colorado Missionary Baptist Association held in Abilene, Texas, on September 8, 1950.
