This action to recover damages to property and for personal injuries grew out of a collision of two automobiles on Route 1 in the State of Maine on the road between Stockton Springs and Bucksport, in this state. The plaintiff was a resident of Bridgeport in the State of Connecticut, the defendant was a resident of St. John, Newfoundland.
