In this action for breach of contract, plaintiff appeals from a judgment of nonsuit.

On January 15, 1948, plaintiff was awarded a contract by the State of California for the construction of 4.9 miles of public highway north of Trona in Inyo County. The contract provided that it should be completed before the expiration of 150 working days after the approval of the contract by the attorney general. Such approval was given on January 28, 1948...
