This case, which is an outgrowth of an escheat action instituted in 1944 by the State of California, is not in and of itself in any aspect unusual, but the action of the representatives of the state in the case upon which it is based seems to us to have violated the public policy of this state. While we shall have more to say concerning that observation it is sufficient at this point to concede that the case before us presents a very simple question...
