PER CURIAM.

The defendant was charged with the crime of assault with intent to inflict great bodily injury. He entered a plea of not guilty and was tried. Following a return of a verdict of guilty by the jury, the defendant, in person and through his counsel at that time, asked that immediate sentence be pronounced. The defendant was sentenced to the Men's Reformatory at Anamosa for a term of not to exceed one year, and judgment was entered against him for costs....
