This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing plaintiff's complaint brought to recover damages for false arrest and imprisonment. Defendant is a judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, a court of record and of general jurisdiction. Both plaintiff and defendant are citizens of Illinois, and the question is whether the District Court had jurisdiction.
