This is a suit brought by Jesse Wilson to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him when he slipped on ice and fell while leaving one of defendant's streetcars. This is the second trial of this case in circuit court, the first having resulted in a verdict for plaintiff, which verdict was set aside by the trial judge on the weight of the evidence.
