In this case we are called upon to review a judgment of the Vanderburgh Superior Court validating Ordinance 1883, enacted by the common council of the city of Evansville, Indiana, whereby 1230 acres of land were annexed to said city.

Said judgment is attacked first on the grounds that Ordinance 1883 was enacted at a special meeting of the common council, notice of which failed to meet the requirements of a general ordinance, pertaining to special...
