The defendant was charged with the crime of sodomy. He entered a plea of not guilty and upon trial the jury found him guilty. A motion for new trial was submitted on behalf of defendant which was overruled by the trial court. Thereafter he was sentenced to a term of not to exceed ten years at the State Penitentiary at Fort Madison, Iowa. The defendant has appealed and the record in connection with this case is...
